Fraser T Smith enlists Dave and ES Devlin for the thought-provoking new single, “Children Of The Internet.”
Under the moniker Future Utopia, Fraser T Smith is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album. 12 Questions, the name of his forthcoming project, is scheduled to fall in October. Since mid-August, he has released single after single.
For anyone who's been waiting for Dave's new music, the latest single from Fraser T Smith, “Children Of The Internet,” provides a brand new verse from the UK rapper. He is assisted by minimalist electronic development as Dave discusses current issues facing the youth from over-exposure to social media to technology surveillance.
Since dropping his debut album PSYCHODRAMA in 2019, Dave has not released a whole lot of music, though he contributed to the Top Boy soundtrack as well as appearing on the show.
Lyrics Snippet
Could you argue that it's borderline dangerous to take a picture of a girl's face and start changin' it?
With one quick filter, your nose looks thinner
Your eyes look fuller
Your lips look bigger
Your software's better and your phone knows everything
If anything, it's getting George Orwell-ian
