Former Marlian Music artist Mohbad has produced a diss tune titled “Tiff” targeting Naira Marley, his former label head.
He is not making any empty threats, and the message is quite clear. Mohbad is an unapologetic man of his word, whose skill needs no further justification.
The song “Tiff,” whose name might be pronounced “Thief,” details the industry's attempts to rob him of his hard-earned success.
Mohbad obviously doesn't want to have anything more with his superior, and he made sure that message was relayed.
After he got into a violent altercation with his former label's personnel, resulting in visible bruising, Internet followers have been keenly watching his every move. “Tiff” complains that Naira Marley treats him unfairly and publicly refers to him as “brother.”
Despite his struggles and the fight he had with his old label, he has had a successful run in the industry and sees no need to leave.
Mohbad's new sound appears to be a continuation of his last effort, titled “Peace,” and will serve as a taste of his upcoming body of work, which is expected to drop before the end of the year.
Enta, aka Larry Lanes, produced the soundtrack.
