Spilligion, the newest Atlanta Spillage Village project, has arrived today. The brainchild of J.I.D, Earthgang, Mereba, 6LACK, Jurdan Bryant, and JB, along with their latest member, the multi-instrumentalist Benji, has been active for those who have not been active in the Village for one minute.
Though the opening individuals “End Of Daze” and “Baptize” indicated the grim and dystopian sound of spilligion, the actual environment of the project was a lot more optimistic. Indeed, a remarkable folk-influence is evocating the campfire singalongs and whimsical exploration of the forest throughout.
