The Weeknd has dropped a new track “Popular” – which features Madonna as well as Playboi Carti.
The new song is scheduled to debut on the highly-anticipated HBO series The Idol – in which you will see The Weeknd (going to His birth name Abel Tesfaye) and Lily-Rose Depp as the main characters.
The track features guest appearances from Playboi Carti as well as Madonna The track ‘Popular' features guest appearances from Madonna and Playboi Cart the second track The Weeknd has dropped prior to the drama that is set to air. The first was “Double Fantasy,” which was released in April. The singer-songwriter teamed together with Future.
The two songs will feature on the soundtrack album to the series, ‘ The Idol Vol. 1.'. It is expected to release at the end of June (June 30, 2013).
